Why should you choose a purebred Maltese puppy for sale for your family

Maltese puppies are a great fit for families and couples who enjoy a low-active lifestyle. They are full of love and will take any opportunity to play, making them the perfect fit for families or singles. One thing about Maltese puppies is that they don’t shed, and grooming is a small price when you consider they don’t shed hair everywhere. They’re also friendly around strangers and welcome pats and cuddles from just about anyone!

Malteses are lighter and can weigh up to 4kg on average, making them easy to cart around for trips to the beach or the dog park.

Why choose our purebred Maltese puppies

We raise our purebred Maltese puppies for sale to be well-socialised, confident and ready for your family. With early exposure to sounds, routines and travel as well as support from a qualified behaviourist, they will adapt quickly to their new home.

Each puppy is vaccinated, wormed and introduced to toilet training, crate time and grooming. Their gentle nature and small size make them ideal indoor companions.

How we raise our Maltese puppies

We don’t use kennels or cages. All our puppies are raised inside our home and introduced to daily life, including familiar sounds, car rides, people and play.

We work closely with a dog behaviourist to establish early routines and help every puppy develop confidence, emotional balance and social ease.

What’s included with adoption

When you adopt a puppy from Moodles To Love, you’ll receive:

  • A tailored furever plan
  • Essentials such as grooming tools and toys
  • Starter food (including raw options and familiar premium brands)

We offer Maltese puppies for sale QLD-wide and welcome interest from families across Australia.

How to care for a Maltese puppy

Owning a puppy is a big responsibility, so you’ll need to be sure you and your family have the time to properly care for your new Maltese puppy. While they are generally low-maintenance animals, they do require:

  • Regular grooming — Thanks to their Maltese traits, Malteses do not shed fur — a huge win for those who hate vacuuming! However, they require regular grooming and maintenance to keep their coat immaculate. Malteses need regular brushing and a trip to the groomer every six to eight weeks.
  • Diet — We primarily feed a raw diet, but we understand that’s not for everyone, so we also ensure our dogs are comfortable with kibble.
  • Activity — Malteses have low exercise requirements and are happy inside dogs. To prevent boredom and keep them healthy, it’s recommended that they receive around 30 minutes of exercise a day.
